The Grain Trader Point of Sale (POS) Module is a special program that can be installed on POS workstations and which provides the functions required for a typical retail counter operation including:

• Barcode scanning
• Account or Cash Sales
• Integration with cash drawers
• Comprehensive reports
• Integration with the Grain Trader database for centralised stock, sales, price and debtor control (but Grain Trader does not need to be installed on the POS workstation)
• Honours Grain Trader's custom Pricing Tiers functionality for packaged goods - a highly flexible and configurable facility to define prices for combinations of stock items and clients
• Supports multiple printers, including docket printers. The default printer to be used can be configured separately for cash sales, account sales and delivery dockets.

The POS Module requires at least one copy of CDA Grain Trader to manage the database and configure stock, debtors etc. The POS Module is not included in a standard Grain Trader installation; it is available at extra cost.
