CDA EasyTeam is a program specially designed by and for Registrars of Sporting Clubs for team sports like soccer, football, baseball, hockey etc. to manage their Player Registration and Team Official database needs. OverviewIt's hard enough to get volunteers to fill official roles with Sporting Clubs and Associations these days. CDA EasyTeam is a comprehensive team management system for Club Sports like soccer, football, hockey, cricket etc, designed from the ground up to make it easier for Registrars to keep track of players, fees, mailing lists, registration data, teams, coaches and all the other details that need to be attended to before the game can even start. Yet even though CDA EasyTeam is a very comprehensive administrative tool for sporting clubs & associations, it's designed to be easy to use because we know that not everyone is experienced in using computer programs. Browse through the list of features and benefits over the next few pages and we think you'll agree it's the most capable yet flexible program of its type around, and with a licensing model structured to suit every club, too!
Please note! CDA EasyTeam is still in the development and testing phase. Although well advanced, it is not yet ready for retail sale. If you are interested in joining our Beta Test program, please

us with your details. Features and BenefitsMultiple sports per clubOnly enter your player details once, no matter how many sports your Club offers. Common details are available in all sports, while team and other details specific to one sport are kept separate. User-Defined Fields (UDFs)If you need to store data (either Yes/No or plain text) that the standard program doesn't, you can create any number of User-Defined Fields to handle your requirements. You can select which Grades the UDF's apply to, and have them automatically "expire" after a number of seasons. If you want you can have the program automatically flag players for follow-up whenever the current value of a UDF matches a criterion you set. Multiple Membership ClassesYou can have ordinary and Life Members, playing and non-playing members, and members that need to be registered with an organising body as well as those that don't. Multiple Members in a Family GroupSee all the members from one family group at once. Print them all together for re-registration or follow-up purposes. Manage Registration Fees & Other ChargesHave the program "guess" the correct Registration fee if Grades are age-based (of course you can override it if you need to). Keep track of clothing and other sales and who's paid and who hasn't. Easy Team AllocationsAutomatically guess and colour-code the probable Grade for new players in age-based Grades, and migrate returning players into the next Grade at the start of the season. Drag & Drop players into or between teams. Multiple Roles per PersonA person can be a player, an official or both. Or multiples thereof! Players can be in more than one team (and, to help avoid mistakes, EasyTeam will highlight them) and grade. Capture the History of Players and OfficialsThe program automatically records team memberships and official positions held, for posterity. Ready for Electronic Data InterchangeUse barcoded data on Registration Days, and interface with web-based systems (under development) to capture data quickly and with fewer errors. Export selected data to common formats for uploading to your affiliation body (under development). Organise CorrespondenceWant to send a letter to a member? Or an email message? Start your favourite word processor or email client from within the program, with essential data already filled in. Store documents, photos etc in an organised hierarchy so you'll always be able to find them again - and make it easier to backup! Comprehensive ReportingOf course there are team reports and worksheets, Follow-Up reports, Contact lists, Affiliation Reports, Member Ledger Trial Balance reports, mailing labels etc. And if you need something special we'll look at that too! Industry-Standard DatabaseWe use the Microsoft® Access database format for reliable data storage. It's easy to backup, and move to another computer when someone else takes on the role. Online Help & TutorialsContext-sensitive Help is provided with the program, and you'll have access to a range of Shockwave®-based tutorials covering the major functions that you can download or view online. Licensing and SupportCDA EasyTeam uses a simple licensing model, making it suitable for sporting clubs of all sizes. The licensee (for example this often means "club") can use the program on as many computers as required within that organisation. We define a licensee as the single legal entity whose name is supplied at the time of product registration. Two licence types are available for CDA EasyTeam. Demo/Lite LicenceYou can download and try CDA EasyTeam for up to 30 days without registering the software. This gives you time to look at the sample data (or enter your own) and see if the program meets your needs. If your club has 50 or fewer active playing members you can convert your Demo Licence into a Lite Licence for free. That's right, gratis! Use CDA EasyTeam with our compliments, for as long as you have 50 or fewer active playing members. All you need to do is register your copy of the program and we'll send you the appropriate Licence Key by email. If later your club outgrows the Lite Licence you can upgrade for the normal price at that time of the Licence you need. Standard LicenceIf you have more than 50 active playing members you need to purchase a Standard Licence. SupportIn addition to the online Help and Tutorials, we provide 24/7 self-help avenues through an online FAQ, and registered users also have access to a Forum on our website. We'll also attend to queries via email, within working hours (Australian Eastern Standard/Daylight Saving Time). Registered users are welcome to use the Forum to submit items from their "wish list" which we'll assess and if approved, prioritise and add to our development roadmap. Upgrade PolicyOur upgrade policy is simple. Minor or incremental changes and bug fixes are incorporated into minor versions or builds, for example version 1.3 or 1.4. Registered users can upgrade minor versions for free, just by downloading and installing the current install set or update patch. Significant changes in the feature set are released as major versions, such as 2.0 or 3.0. Major version upgrades would also incorporate incremental changes and bug fixes. We reserve the right to charge an upgrade fee for these versions, however this will never be more than 30% of the then-current full price and will be discounted even further for recent purchasers. Don´t Forget to Backup!Volunteers are the lifeblood of most Sporting Clubs and Associations. But let's face it, they're not usually IT professionals, are they? And they often do their work in a relatively insecure or otherwise uncontrolled environment, with outdated or poorly-maintained equipment and with unknown security against online threats like viruses. Backups, if they're done at all, are of unknown quality. They might only be done occasionally when the person remembers, and they're not stored on notoriously-unreliable floppy disks are they? And are they offsite in case of disaster, or sitting on top of the computer? Imagine what would happen if there was a fire, their computer was stolen or damaged, or a virus wiped their hard disk at a critical time! All your data could be destroyed in an instant, or at the very least you'd be faced with potentially significant delays and extra work to get everything back up again. There is a solution to this nightmare! Because all your CDA EasyTeam data is in a single file on your hard disk, it's easy to backup too. And your documents, photos and other files are all stored in a logical hierarchy that makes it easy to backup these too. We highly recommend our Datagard online, secure backup service for CDA EasyTeam backups. A "set-and-forget" solution, Datagard gives your Club or Association peace of mind by securing a backup of your valuable data in a commercial offsite backup environment. Backup your database automatically (we recommend at least once every day during the busiest periods) using your Internet connection. It'll probably take only a few minutes at most each time after the first. Restore your data to any backup point made in the last 30 days, quickly, easily and efficiently, to any computer - all you need is an Internet connection. Datagard is priced very reasonably too, on a monthly subscription basis that you can change or stop easily and without penalty. You can also use Datagard to backup other files like word processor documents, spreadsheets, and even hard-to-backup data like email messages (optional at extra cost). Read more about Datagard here and sign up to manage the risk of disaster! It may well be the cheapest insurance you ever take out.
