- Right-Click on My Computer.
- Select Map Network Drive....
- Choose a drive letter.
- Either select the network path from the list, enter the path manually, or browse to the path.
- Ensure that Reconnect at logon is selected.
- Click Finish.
- Open Network Neighborhood or My Network Places. This will either be on your desktop, or accessible from the Start menu.
- Double-click Entire Network.
- Double-click Microsoft Windows Network.
- Double-click the domain or workgroup that you want to open.
- Double-click the computer that has the shared resource you want to map. Any shared resources for that computer should appear in the window.
- Right-click the shared drive or folder that you want to map, and then click Map Network Drive.
- Click the drive letter that you want to use.
- Ensure that Reconnect at logon is selected.
- Click Finish.
